The Enterprise Carleton Region has a flourishing manufacturing industry ranging from modular home construction, Hospitality Homes, a world-class music cymbal factory, Sabian, custom metal fabrication facilities, Bell Wire Products, BWS Manufacturing, Craig Manufacturing, BID Canada, Tarp-Rite Inc., Metalfab and Guest Screw Machine Products. A recent addition in the area is Eastern Greenway Oils Inc. It operates from a Bio-Oil Development Center, the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada, located in Waterville.
Utilizing both state-of-the-art equipment and a fully qualified workforce, the  Enterprise Carleton Region business community has a strong and growing manufacturing sector.
A number of firms in the manufacturing sector continue to prosper in the Enterprise Carleton Region. A number of local firms are considering expanding their product lines, planning to move to bigger buildings, and others are thinking about further expansion of their existing sites. The specialty manufacturing sector of this region’s economy also looks like it will be experiencing substantial growth in the very near future. |
